Job Summary: As a Microsoft Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions within our client's IT environment. Leveraging your expertise in Microsoft security technologies, you will architect and deploy security controls to protect against cyber threats and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement security solutions leveraging Microsoft security technologies, including Azure Security Center, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and Microsoft Information Protection.
  • Configure and manage security policies and controls within Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze security events and alerts generated by Microsoft security tools, investigating and responding to potential security incidents.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement security best practices and standards, providing guidance and support on security-related projects and initiatives.
  • Stay informed about developments in Microsoft security technologies and emerging cyber threats, providing recommendations for improving the organization's security posture.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, with a focus on Microsoft security technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Security Center, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and other Microsoft security tools and services.
  • Experience with security configuration and management within Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Security Engineer Associate or equivalent.
