We have a terrific opportunity with a leading global law firm. Our client is looking for a seasoned lawyer with at least five years of experience in Project Finance to join their team as a Senior Associate or Senior Counsel. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in drafting and negotiating key financing agreements, particularly within the renewable energy sector. Experience reviewing project documentation is a plus. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects in renewable energy, energy storage, power generation, and other energy transition technologies. The role is part of a top-tier Projects team, recognized as a Band 1 Chambers-ranked practice across multiple categories, known for handling some of the most complex and groundbreaking projects worldwide.
This position may be located in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, or Washington, D.C. Please indicate your office(s) of interest in your application. A remote position may be allowed for select markets. Employees are entitled to compensation commensurate with skill and experience. Bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed and are dependent upon individual and firm performance.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years’ of experience as a projects finance lawyer.
- Experience drafting and negotiating the principal financing documentation.
- Experience with renewable energy projects preferred.
- Experience reviewing project documentation preferred.
- Strong academic credentials.
