Exciting opportunity to advance your legal career with a leading global law firm. Our client is seeking a Counsel or Senior Counsel lawyer with 4+ years of legal experience with respect to FERC electricity, with some exposure to project finance or project documents for energy transactions

  • Work will involve regulatory aspects of the development, financing, purchase and sale, and operation of a wide range of energy projects located throughout the country, with a particular focus on power purchase and other forms of offtake agreements, interconnection agreements, and grid and transmission issues, particularly in the renewable energy industry. 
  • This role will sit on the market-leading Projects team.  The Projects group is Band 1 Chambers-ranked in all relevant categories and works on some of the most innovative, complex and challenging projects in the world.
  • This position is open to Counsel and Senior Counsel. Both positions offer a vibrant and impactful career within this prestigious global law firm, ideal for those eager to contribute significantly in their field, and the potential for professional advancement. Location:

This position may be based in our Austin, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, San Antonio, San Francisco, or Washington, DC office. Applicants should indicate their office(s) of interest in their application.

Salary range:

$180,000- $400,000 possible range for employees in New York City, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, and San Francisco market. Other markets may vary.
