Job Summary: Our client is seeking an Art Director to collaborate with musical artists, translating their visions into tangible visual elements such as graphics for merchandise, tour banners, and social media assets. This role, reporting directly to the President, requires effective communication as the main link between artists and their in-house teams. Based in Nashville, this position is ideal for someone adept at visual storytelling and client collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate vision and strategy for client pitches, product lines, branding, advertisements, and photoshoots.
- Serve as the primary liaison with artist teams for visual outlets, retail, social media, VIP packages, and marketing assets.
- Create original art, designs, and branding materials for various projects.
- Coordinate internally to ensure artists' needs are met, collaborating with the creative team and overseeing production and vendor coordination.
- Work with executives and creative leaders to establish project deadlines and content goals, presenting project information to executives and clients.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of prior experience in graphic design, marketing strategy, or the entertainment/fashion industries.
- Adaptable to fast-changing artist needs, comfortable with quick ad hoc deadlines to meet touring schedules.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Box, and Slack.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, super organized and detail-oriented.
- Positive work attitude, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong prioritization abilities.
