Regional Sales Manager - East

Position Summary
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Manager - Field Sales - East to join a dynamic and growing sales team. This role will be responsible for covering the Eastern United States, driving revenue growth, and building strong relationships with distributors, contractors, and key customers in strategic markets. The position involves a mix of business development, account management, and strategic sales execution in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Engage new industrial distributors, general contractors, data center construction firms, Hyperscalers, HVAC companies, and other key accounts to expand market presence and drive revenue.
  • Manage and grow existing customer relationships by providing exceptional service and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Conduct in-person sales calls, site visits, trainings, and presentations with key accounts, project managers, and industry partners.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to share insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitive intelligence.
  • Represent the company at regional trade shows, industry events, and conferences.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and territory performance metrics.
  • Partner with other Regional Territory Managers to align on strategy, share best practices, and coordinate cross-regional accounts.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, and applicable industry standards (OSHA, ADA, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of proven outside sales experience in industrial/commercial access solutions, industrial distribution, or commercial construction markets.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets across multi-state territories.
  • Strong understanding of accessibility products (ramps, stairs, platforms, mezzanines) and compliance standards (OSHA, ADA).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region (70–80%).
  • Proficient in CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
