Construction & Design Associate Attorney

Our client is seeking an associate with two to three years of construction law/litigation or government contracting experience to join the Construction and Design Practice Group in our Seattle office. Our projects include a wide variety of legal work representing public and private owners, general contractors, and engineers with pre-project planning and risk assessment, contract drafting, claim management and preservation, and litigating disputes.
            
Qualified candidates will have:
 

  • A JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school;
  • Two to three years of construction law/litigation or government contracting experience;
  • Washington bar admission; and 
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
     

The individual hired for this position may have the option of electing a lower billable-hours track with a proportional reduction in salary. Associates are eligible to participate in Dorsey’s associate bonus program, subject to the program’s conditions and restrictions.
