Overview:
A highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Partner-Level Intellectual Property Attorney with a focus on trademark law and related litigation to join its Pittsburgh, PA office. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned attorney with strong client relationships and a portable book of business to lead and grow a thriving IP practice within a supportive and well-resourced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on domestic and international trademark clearance, registration, prosecution, enforcement, and portfolio management.
• Represent clients in trademark disputes, including federal court litigation, TTAB proceedings, and domain name disputes.
• Draft and negotiate trademark-related agreements, including licensing, coexistence, and settlement agreements.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups on IP strategy and litigation matters.
• Maintain and grow client relationships and participate in business development efforts to expand the firm’s IP footprint.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school; active membership in the Pennsylvania Bar (or eligibility to waive in).
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in trademark law and intellectual property litigation.
• Demonstrated expertise in trademark prosecution, enforcement, and disputes.
• Strong litigation experience involving trademark and unfair competition matters.
• Portable book of business required.
• Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proactive, collaborative, and client-focused approach to practice.
